Add your own photos to the Scalus app

· 1 min read · Tim McCartney

Two phone screens from Photos in the Scalus app: the Uploaded photos folder with the Add your photos box and six photos, and one photo open big with Remove, Download and the arrows

Photos of your own work are the best thing on your website. Getting them to me was the slow part.

The problem

A new photo for the website usually arrived by text or email, one at a time and often shrunk on the way. Then it sat in a thread and was hard to find again when the page needed it.

The result

Your photos in one place, where we can see them too.

The picture above is the real screen, with our own photos as the sample.

Want this in your app?

The website, the app and the systems behind them are one plan, month to month. Get in contact and I will show you.

Questions about this feature

Who can see the photos I add?
Only your team and Scalus. The photos in your Uploaded photos folder can only be opened by people on your account and by us, and their location and camera details are removed as they are added.
Can I add photos straight from my iPhone?
Yes. In Photos on your phone, tap Add your photos and choose them from your library. iPhone photos can also be added from a computer, big ones included.
How many can I add at once?
A good handful at a time. If you add a lot at once, the app may ask you to give it a few minutes before the rest go in.
Can I take off a photo I added by mistake?
Yes. Open it and tap Remove, then tap again to be sure. Only the photos you added can be removed, the photos from your shoot stay where they are.
