Book your content shoot from the app

A website is only as good as its photos, and the photos come from a shoot. Booking that shoot is now one button in the Scalus app.

The problem

Arranging a shoot meant messages back and forth. Are you free Tuesday? What about the week after? Each round cost a day, and the site waited on its photos the whole time. For a new client, it was the step most likely to stall.

The result

Open the menu in the app and tap Book your shoot. You see the days and times that are actually free, straight from my diary.

• Real times. Weekday mornings, starting two business days out. Pick one and it is booked. There is no waiting for a reply.
• Your first shoot is included. I come to you with the full kit, take the photos for your website and catch up with you on the build. About two hours, nothing to organise.
• Tell me what to capture. Your team, the shopfront, a job in progress. Add the address and it is in the calendar.
• The next step after set up. When a new client finishes the set up questions, the app points straight to booking the shoot.

The first thing in the calendar is the thing that gets the site its photos.
