Every customer in one Contacts list

The Contacts page of the Scalus App on a computer and a phone: a searched contact with Call, Text and Email buttons and their details

A client asked me where all their people were. Not the ones who had enquired this week, those sit on the Enquiries board, but everyone: the customers in their old spreadsheet, the people who had texted, the ones who had emailed, the lead who sent a message on Instagram and the names on a stack of business cards in the ute. Every one of those lived somewhere different, and none of them lived in the Scalus App.

All their emails and all their contacts go there. Names, emails, phone, Instagram, all of it.

What you'll see now

Two rules keep it clean. The list only holds people who have dealt with your business, so you tick a box saying so before you upload a file, and bought or scraped lists stay out. And a visitor who chatted on your website but never left a name or number isn't a contact, so they don't clutter it.

Contacts is live now for every client in the Scalus App at my.scalus.app, on a phone and on a computer. The people in the screenshots above are made up.

Want a website and the system behind it?

I build the website, the local SEO and the systems that feed it. Live in 4 days, month to month, same price while you stay on this plan.

Questions about this one

Where do the contacts come from?
From everything your Scalus setup already sees: your website's forms and chat, texts to your Scalus number, emails to your Scalus mailbox, your inbox conversations and your customer list. Someone who reaches you three ways is one contact, not three.
What files can I upload?
A CSV or Excel spreadsheet, a contacts export from your phone (vCard), a PDF, a screenshot or a photo of a list. You see who was found, tick the ones you want and press Add. Nothing is saved until you do.
Can I text or call someone from the list?
Yes. Each contact has Call, Text, Email and Instagram buttons for the details you have. If your business has its own Scalus number, the text goes from that number; otherwise it opens on your phone. Only text or call people who have dealt with your business.
