See where every lead came from
A tattoo studio I work with gets enquiries from everywhere: people ringing, people tapping an Instagram or Facebook ad, people finding the website on Google. On the board they all looked the same. So I made every card say where the lead came from.
The problem
When every card looks the same, you cannot tell at a glance which enquiries came from your ads and which came from a phone call or your website. That makes it hard to know what is actually bringing in work, and hard to know how to answer someone before you have even opened their card.
The result
On the Enquiries board in the Scalus app, the first chip on every card now says where the lead came from.
- Phone call, in amber. With a phone icon, so a caller stands out from everyone else.
- Instagram or Facebook, in blue. With that app's icon, so you can see which of your ads is bringing people in.
- Meta, in blue. When someone came from Instagram or Facebook but the link did not say which one.
- Website, with a globe. Everyone who found you and enquired through your website.
- It follows them around your site. Someone who taps an ad, looks around a few pages and enquires from another one still shows as Instagram or Facebook.
- On the computer and the phone. The same chips show on the board on your computer and in the app on your phone.
Open the board and you know where each enquiry came from before you read a word.
The screens above are the real app, shown on a sample business. If your business uses the Pipeline in the Scalus app, you can ask for lead sources in the app, and I can label the leads already on your board too.
Want this in your app?
Clients using the Pipeline can ask for it in the app today. Not a client yet? The website, the app and the systems behind them are one plan, month to month.
