Your business phone, in the Scalus app
Some of my clients now have a business number of their own through Scalus. Calls ring their phone, the ones they miss can be answered for them, and texts go out from it. I wanted them to see all of it in one place.
The problem
A phone line does a lot quietly. Who answers when you're on a job, what happens after a call, which messages came in while you were busy, and what this month is costing. None of that was in one place you could look at.
The result
The Scalus app now has its own Phone system section, with four pages.
- Your number. Your business number and whether it's live, who a call rings and when, what happens if nobody picks up, and the backup mobile your calls go to if the line ever goes down.
- After a call. Every automation that runs after a call, like the write up to your office, the text back to the caller or a Google review request, each one marked on or off.
- Voicemail. The calls you missed and the messages left, newest first, with a short summary and every word written down.
- Usage. What you've used so far this billing month and what it costs, with every price shown up front.
- Dialer. Calling your customers from your own business number is on its way, and it will live here.
Your number, your calls and what they cost, in the same app as your website and your messages.
It works on your computer with the menu beside it, and on your phone with a swipe to go back. If you're a client and want a number of your own, send me a message in the app and I'll set it up.
Want a business number of your own?
Clients can ask for one in the app today. Not a client yet? The website, the app and the systems behind them are one plan, month to month.
