Domain access

Connect your domain

Your new website is built. The last step is pointing your domain at it. Pick who you bought your domain from and follow the steps. It takes about two minutes and you never hand over a password.

Step one

Who is your provider

The company you pay every year to keep the domain. If you are not sure, search your email inbox for the word renewal, the invoice will tell you.

Questions, answered

Do I have to give you my password?
No, and please do not. Every method on this page gives me my own separate login. That is the whole point of it. If a provider ever asks you to share a password to give someone access, you are on the wrong screen.
Can you see my credit card?
No. User and delegate access does not expose saved payment methods or your account password on any of these providers. On the two where a higher level exists, I tell you in the steps to leave it switched off.
Do I still own my domain?
Yes. It stays in your name, in your account, on your card. Inviting a user changes nothing about ownership, and you can remove me in two clicks at any time.
Will my email stop working?
No. Your email runs on separate DNS records to your website. I copy every existing record across before anything changes, and email is the first thing I check after a switch.
How do I know who my provider is?
Search your email inbox for the word domain or renewal. The invoice tells you. If that turns up nothing, send me your web address and I can look it up in about a minute.
How do I remove your access later?
The same screen you used to add it. Every provider on this page lets you revoke a user instantly, and nothing about your domain changes when you do.
My provider is not on the list
Pick Not listed in the selector. It walks you through finding the same screen on any provider, and if all else fails, send me a screenshot of where you are stuck and I will tell you exactly what to tap.

Stuck on any step

Send me a screenshot of the screen you are looking at. I will tell you exactly what to tap. Faster than reading, and I do this every week.
