Google ads

Catch people at the moment they are ready to buy

Google ads are for when someone is ready to buy. Once Meta has them interested, they Google you, and this is what they click.

Why it is number 3

Third, and worth the wait

Google ads are the most expensive clicks you will pay for, and the most valuable, because the person typing "emergency electrician Ringwood" at 9pm is not browsing. That is why it comes third. With the profile and Meta already working, people recognise your name when they search, and the click turns into a call far more often. Paying for search before that is paying full price for strangers.

On the day

What we set up, together, on your laptop

I turn up with my own computer and we work through it on yours. I do the boring parts for you, and every account ends up in your name.

  1. 1
Your Google Ads account, in your name

On your card, linked to your Google Business Profile, so your ads carry your reviews and your location.

  2. 2
    Your Google tag and conversions

On your website, tracking the calls and form fills, so you can see exactly what a lead cost you and not just what a click cost.

  3. 3
    A search campaign built together

Around the suburbs you want the work from and the services worth paying for, with the searches you never want to pay for blocked from the start.

  4. 4
    Ad copy and extensions

Written on the day from your real offer, with your number, your location and your reviews showing under the ad.

  5. 5
    Budget and bidding set sensibly

A daily cap you are comfortable with, and a bidding setup that does not need a specialist to babysit it.

What you walk away knowing

Not theory. The actual screens.

The buttons you will be looking at on a Tuesday night when you want to change something.

  • How to read the search terms report and cut the searches that were never going to call
  • What to bid, what to pause, and when a keyword has earned more budget
  • How the tag and the conversions tell you the true cost of a lead
  • When to add a second campaign, and when to leave the first one alone

With every module

You are not left to work it out alone

The wall to learning takes a bit of effort. So every module comes with the time to get over it.

Up to 90 minutes

One on one, in person, on your laptop. Learning it, setting it up and understanding it, with me next to you.

Two calls in the first month

Because something always comes up in the first few weeks, and a ten minute call fixes most of it.

Ongoing support in the app

The same support you already get on your Scalus website, in the Scalus app, for as long as you are subscribed.

A refresher if you need one

I want you to learn the basics, then go and do the extra research yourself. If it slips, we can always do a refresher.

Scalus

For Scalus website clients only

Ads and posts send people to your website. Because I manage your website, I can work with you on your campaigns as they run. Say you have a new offer. I build a landing page that fits it, and your ad points straight at it.

Landing pages for whatever you are advertising are built for you, free, as part of your plan.

Google ads

Things people ask before they book

Why not start with Google ads?

Because the clicks cost the most. When your profile and your Meta ads are already working, people recognise you in the search results and the click converts far better. The order is deliberate.

How much does a click cost?

It depends entirely on your trade and suburb. Some are a couple of dollars, some are $30 or more. We look at your actual numbers on the day before setting a budget.

Is this the same as SEO?

No. Google ads is paying to appear at the top today. SEO is earning the spot over time, and that is part of your Scalus website already.
