Soak Haus head spa website built by Scalus

A premium wellness site that positions Soak Haus as a first-of-its-kind ritual experience — designed to convey calm and sell the experience, not just list a service.

The brief

Soak Haus is something Victoria hasn't seen before: the state's first Japanese-inspired head spa, based in Cheltenham. The treatment is a restorative ritual that cleanses the scalp and quietens the mind — closer to meditation than a hair wash. The brand lives by one line: self-care is essential.

The challenge with a category-defining experience is that most people have never had one, so a website can't just describe a service — it has to make you feel the calm before you've booked. Soak Haus needed a digital home that conveyed that serenity, explained an unfamiliar ritual, and made it effortless to book, gift and learn the craft.

What we built

A serene, starlit-gold experience

We designed the site around the feeling of the treatment itself — a calm, starlit-gold aesthetic that slows you down the moment you land. Every element is built to convey stillness and quietude, so the website does the same thing the spa does: lowers your shoulders. It positions Soak Haus as a premium, first-of-its-kind ritual rather than another salon add-on.

Treatments, gift cards and an academy

Beyond the booking experience, the site gives each side of the business its own space. Treatments explain the ritual and what to expect. Gift cards turn the experience into something people share. And an academy section opens a second line entirely — training others in the head-spa craft — all under one calm, cohesive brand.

Online booking, built in

The whole site is built to convert that sense of calm into a booking. Online booking is woven through the experience so a first-time visitor can go from curious to confirmed without friction — fast, secure and always online on the Scalus stack.

When the product is calm, the website has to feel calm too — the page should do the work the treatment does.

The result

Soak Haus now has a premium wellness website that matches the experience it sells — one that positions the studio as a first-of-its-kind ritual experience and gives customers a clear path to book, gift and even learn the craft.
