Every minute a call is connected to your phone. A minute started counts as a minute.
Voicemail AI
The assistant is part of your plan, and you pay only for the minutes it answers. It answers the calls you miss, takes the caller's name, number and what they need, and emails you a written summary with the recording.
All prices in Australian dollars, GST included. Billed weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on usage, to the card you pay Scalus with, as its own line, separate from your website plan.

What you do not pay for
- Texts you receive.
- Calls nobody answers. A call your own voicemail picks up counts as answered.
- The Google review system and the voicemail assistant themselves. Both are part of your plan.
Common questions
Is it a real phone number?
Yes. It is a normal Australian mobile number for your business. Customers see it on your texts, and they can call it or text it back like any other number.
What do I pay for each month?
The number is $20 a month. On top of that you pay only for what you use: 15c for each text sent, 35c a minute for calls that ring through to you, and 55c a minute for the minutes voicemail AI answers. Prices include GST.
What is not charged?
Texts you receive are not charged, and neither are calls nobody answers. A call your own voicemail picks up counts as answered, so it is charged like any other call.
How am I billed?
Weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on usage, to the card you already pay Scalus with, as its own line, separate from your website plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Texts already sent are billed.
